Who’s It For?
The 2026 Audi Q8 is a fantastic choice for someone who admires many of the benefits of the larger Q7 but doesn’t require the third row of seats and instead desires enhanced maneuverability. Even so, despite the Q8’s smaller size, it seats up to five and offers an impressive cargo volume of 60.7 cu-ft with the rear seats folded down.
The new 2026 Audi A8 certainly doesn’t skimp on style, either. It takes the famed Audi design language and Singleframe grille and enhances it even further with a more athletic exterior and dynamic lighting elements, which boost both safety and style.
What’s New for 2026?
The Sport Plus package is entirely new for the 2026 Audi A8, and includes a black optic exterior trim and S line exterior, red brake calipers, dark chrome exhausts, Sport seats with ventilation and massage functionality, and carbon twill matte inlays. Also, 23-inch 10-spoke wheels finish off the stunning aesthetic.
Also new for 2026, available Sport adaptive air suspension on the Sport plus package automatically adjusts the ride height and damper setting to enhance comfort. And the newly available Vision package provides drivers with the safety of a night vision assistant, HD Matrix LED headlights with Audi laser light, and headlight washers. Smart!
Real World Performance
The 2026 Audi Q8 comes packed with a turbocharged V6 engine capable of producing a generous 335 HP and 369 lb.-ft. of torque. This is good for a 0 to 60 MPH time of approximately 5.5 seconds, as estimated by Audi. Also standard is Audi’s much-celebrated quattro all-wheel-drive system, which moves power from each axle to increase efficiency or traction, depending on what is needed on the fly as you whip along your local highways and byways.
Audi drive select comes standard, letting you express your driving preference by choosing a driving mode that matches the transmission, steering, and engine performance that is most to your liking. Standard adaptive damper suspension further promotes adjustable ride settings, allowing you to choose between firm handling and a more comfortable cruising experience.
Available all-wheel steering does two things: It improves handling at low speeds by turning the rear wheels slightly in the opposite direction of those in the front, and it boosts stability at high speeds by ensuring the rear wheels steer in the same direction. Finally, the available trailer hitch and seven-pin connector provide a towing capacity of up to 7,700 pounds.
